Know-how workshops

Several workshops can be offered as part of a one-hour activity, a morning or a day of discovery of indigenous cultures.

Know-how workshops

Talking stick making workshop
Duration: 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes
Participants are introduced to the talking stick, used in all the indigenous traditions of Quebec. He/She decorates his/her own talking stick which he/she can use later.
The talking stick can then be used in work teams during meetings, for example.

Medicine bag making workshop
Duration: 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes
Participants are introduced to the medicine bag, present in all the indigenous traditions of Quebec. He/She makes his/her own medicine bag according to the teachings received.
The importance of taking care of yourself is highlighted and the medicine bag can serve as a reminder.

Medicine Wheel Workshop
Duration: 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes
Participants receive teachings on the medicine wheel, present in all the indigenous traditions of Quebec. He/She can also paint his/her own medicine wheel.
Parallels are drawn between the cycles experienced in a company/organization and the cycles illustrated by the medicine wheel and nature.

Workshop on making a dream catcher
Duration: 1h30 to 2h
Participants are encouraged to learn about the dream catcher and make their own. He/She makes his/her own dream catcher according to the teachings received.
The importance of taking care of yourself is highlighted and the concept of the dream catcher can be applied to the work teams of a company/organization.
