Manufacture of moccasins - In person

Come make your moccasins by learning how to make your own pattern and add a sole!

Procedure day 1

In the morning

• Welcome from 8:30 a.m. to finalize registrations
• Classes start at 9:00 a.m.
• Talking circle, if possible outside
• First lessons on moccasins - history
• Teaching on animal skin
• Beading on the skin (very simple drawing)

In the afternoon

• Return to the teaching room: 1:00 p.m.
• Continuation of beading on the skin (very simple drawing)
• Beginning of moccasin pleating
• Discussion and sharing throughout – Who am I?

Procedure day 2

In the morning

• Continuation of moccasin pleating
• Assembly of moccasins

In the afternoon

• Finishing the moccasins
• Closing with a talking circle
