Natukunapui Workshop

Natukunapui, means tea, herbal tea in the Ilnu language, Nehlueun.

During this workshop, we will introduce participants to some of the different medicinal plants that the First Nations used to take care of themselves. Subsequently, team members will be invited to let their creativity flow and to co-create Mamu, together, the best recipe for medicinal herbal tea which represents the strengths, values, collaboration of their organization/company while putting emphasis on 'before the benefits that they wish to pass on to their collaborators and allies.

Natukunapui Workshop

The members of the team will have to work in synergy in order to identify, according to the different spheres of the holistic organization chart, what are the elements that guide their co-creation: values, uniqueness/strengths, collaborators, etc.

- Preparation and co-creation of a herbal tea recipe which represents the organization from the different medicinal plants available
- Find a name in one of the indigenous languages of their choice
- Develop the description, benefits, marketing, values, etc. (Bridging with those of the organization).
- Presentation of their herbal tea and the concept of their co-creation to other teams.
- Choice and vote for the best herbal tea and the concept that best represents the organization.

PROCEDURE (duration 3 to 4 hours)

- Presentation of the importance of the circle for First Nations, holistic approach and the medicine wheel. (10 minutes.)

- Presentation of the holistic organization chart and the four dimensions that promote the development of our zone of genius and our collaboration with our internal and external allies. (10-15 min.)

- Presentation of Akua Nature, the concept, values and philosophy of co-creation. (10 minutes.)

- Presentation of the Natukunapui Team building activity, the objectives we wish to achieve and team training (5-6 people/team) (10-15 min.)

- Natukunapui co-creation activity (1h30 to 2h)

- Presentation of the herbal teas and the concept of each team and vote for the winner (1 hour - approximately 5 min. per team)

- End of activity


GOALS

The objectives of the workshop are:

- Promote creativity and the spirit of teamwork.

- Identify common and team-unifying values, while aligning them with those of the organization/company.

- Develop and promote collaborative links between them internally and with their external allies.

- Raise members' awareness of the holistic concept of First Nations in order to promote synergy between the different agents and departments of the organization.

- Use their culture as a tool to promote their organization to their employees.

- Strengthen their sense of pride and belonging towards their culture and the organization for which they work.
