When will the Eagle Quetzal Condor Summit take place?
The 2023 Aigle Quetzal Condo Summit will take place from June 12 to 18, 2023.
Of theprivate activitieswill gather seniors in a place in nature, from June 12 to 16, 2023, about 100 km north of Montreal in order to:

Allow private exchanges on crucial topics for them, such as
protection and enhancement of their traditions;

Specify the message they wish to deliver to the world concerning the protection of Mother Earth, with a view to drafting a final declaration addressed to the international community.
Of thepublic activitieswill take place on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18, 2023 at the Montreal Botanical Garden.
Doors open at 9 a.m. and activities start at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.
Where does the Eagle Quetzal Condor Summit take place?
The Aigle Quetzal Condor Summit will be an opportunity to offer public meetings with elders over 2 days and at 2 different sites:
Saturday June 17, 2023: This day will be dedicated to sharing cultures on a site in the heart of nature: L'Interval Coopérative located at 3565 chemin du Lac-Legault, Sainte-Lucie-des-Laurentides, QC, J0T 2J0.

Are the activities chargeable?

On June 17, the public activities are open to everyone for free.

The Summit's public activities are open to all. We nevertheless invite you to make a conscious contribution.

By contributing on the day of the event, you're making a big difference in the development of our mission and helping to share abundance with those who need it most right now, so that they, in turn, can one day give back.

Is the Eagle Quetzal Condor Summit an event for all ages?
Yes, the Eagle Quetzal Condor Summit is an event for people of all ages.Children 4 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. For more information visit https://espacepourlavie.ca/entrance-rights-for-a-museum
What happens if it rains?
Rain or shine, the show goes on! Please inform yourself about the temperature before going to the site. Dress accordingly!
However, it is possible that bad weather conditions force us to interrupt programming for a temporary period. We invite you to stay tuned on our social media for the most up-to-date information.

Please note that personal cameras are permitted at the Quetzal Condor Eagle Summit. However, out of respect for our traditions, we ask you not to capture images or sound during the ceremonies.

In the afternoon, a host of activities for young and old will be offered: creative workshops, sharing circles with elders, conferences, traditional dances, etc.

The program is sure to expand in the days leading up to the event, as we get to know all the elders. It will be posted at the reception desk on the day.

The ceremony will start at 1:30 p.m. and we expect it to finish around 3:30 p.m.

For those who can't be with us in person, we invite you to join us in prayer from 1:30 p.m. (7:30 p.m. Paris time).

We estimate that by 2:00 p.m., the Elders will be ready to read their Joint Declaration for Mother Earth. We intend to broadcast it live via Facebook Live.

Who are all the elders?
Our small team has done a remarkable job of raising the funds needed to bring in our elders, artists and cultural ambassadors. Here is a list of all those who confirmed their presence and were able to obtain the necessary visas.
Many of them come from Canada, of course, but also from the following countries:

Other elders from Central and South America were unfortunately unable to obtain visas to enter Canada. They will nevertheless take part in the discussions via the Internet, during the private sessions from June 13 to 16.

What if a senior cancels their presence at the Summit?
All performances scheduled at the Summit, including those of the headlining seniors, are subject to change or cancellation without notice. No refunds will be given for such changes or cancellations.
Security, location and services
Keep the site clean and safe
Although having fun at the Aigle Quetzal Condor Summit is definitely a priority, it is important to respect your environment, the other Summit participants and the volunteers so that everyone can have an extraordinary experience. Please follow the following guidelines when attending the Eagle Quetzal Condor Summit.
1. Make an effort to recycle, compost or dispose of your waste properly. Nobody likes to walk through the trash!
2. Please be polite to Summit volunteers and other Summit participants. Although crowds tend to gather around the stages, please do not push others, overtake in lines, etc.
3. Please respect the Summit site, and leave it in the state in which you found it when entering it. Please do not remove any signs, banners or posters from the Summit site. Do not climb trees or damage them, as well as carvings.
4. Respect art. Several works of art are installed throughout the Summit site. Please do not touch or move them! People who damage the works of art will be expelled from the Summit.
Is the Sommet Aigle Quetzal Condor accessible for people with reduced mobility?
The Sommet Aigle Quetzal Condor is committed to providing a unique experience for people with reduced mobility and people with functional limitations.
Accompanying
Companion dogs are allowed according to the law and the companion permit.
Toilet
Toilets adapted for restricted mobility are available on site.

Reserved spaces for motorists with a disabled person's sticker are available in the park's parking lot.

Our goal is to create an environment where Summit participants can connect, with Indigenous Traditions and Wisdoms and with each other, in a positive way. Take care of yourself, others and the environment. At any time, do not hesitate to contact us if anything seems unsafe or strange to you.

The Summit Eagle Quetzal Condor is a celebration of individuality, self-expression and togetherness. You are all unique. Our Summit is a judgment-free zone: no disrespect, no criticism.

Help us keep the site clean. We are doing our part, but we also need you.

The Summit Eagle Quetzal Condor is your sanctuary. We are committed to ensuring that all Summit Participants feel safe at all times. The Sommet Aigle Quetzal Condor is a space free from physical, psychological, verbal or sexual harassment, aggression and violence. It's not complicated, just follow the golden rule: treat others as you want to be treated.
Kindness is the key
Be careful of those around you and be careful of your friends (this includes new friends too, we all have a place in the big Eagle Summit Quetzal Condor family)!
Have an open mind
Be open to discovering new cultures, meeting new people and having new experiences. The Eagle Quetzal Condor Summit is THE place to celebrate in the joy of sharing and in the spirit of reconciliation between all nations so that the world regains balance! Wander, explore, expect the unexpected and enjoy it to the fullest!
Safety and respect first
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful and enjoyable experience for everyone. This is why a code of conduct is included among our many security measures. Your cooperation is an important part of creating a pleasant and enjoyable environment, and we thank you for following the following guidelines throughout the Summit for the safety and security of all.
We therefore ask that your conduct at our events remain pleasant, appropriate and respectful. To ensure the safety and comfort of our Summit Attendees, the following behaviors may result in you being stopped by security:

Use/possession of illegal substances

Interfere with the conduct of the event
